Kenji Stood on a small tower eying the city. things had been quiet lately in kakura town. hollow disturbances had been shrinking which meant he was slowly losing his job as a Kexsu. he then leaned down on a knee and let out a sigh as he thought about what would happen if the kexsu's lost their job. what would their purpose be? were they just suppose to give their power away? he tried to shake off those questions. there was no way hollows would ever go away. so long as their are people in world with regrets, hollows will always be.

Jinn feeling bored wandered down the street from his semi home in the Karakura park where he slept countless nights from his orphanage and more to escape the paper work in soul society. Jinn then let his body relax and his reitatsu leak out as he drank more from his gourd that never seemed to run out when he needed a drink. Feeling content with his work recently and the lack of danger he'd been thrown in Jinns mind began to wonder why he was only 10th seat and what he'd have to do to get higher. Placing his hands on the back of his head he messed with his bandana a little and wandered down the random street of karakura and of each thought that his mind came across.

((yea i got strict orders from matt to make this a learning experience. XD))

Kenji's mind began to wonder like it often did every time he was left alone. he thought about life, about his brother, and about the future. suddenly his trail of thought was disrupted as he felt a burst of reitsu leak out. it was either a mediocre shinigami or a very strong hollow, so strong it could kill a kexsu, like his brother. he quickly sonido'd over to the park and kept look out in one of the tree's.

Jinn oddly enough was walking several metres away staring up into the sky, by the look in his eye ;even from a distance was ovious; Jinn was in his own world dreaming of meetin that arrancar again or beating a captain in a spar or even being a captain, along with other general being strong fantasies. Just as he finished one fantasy about beating the arrancar he left a scar on he felt a sudden chill down his spine and thought to himself"Only two things do that, cheap animes like chobbits, which doesnt seem to be any around.... or someones watching me" Jinn managed to make the slow down in his walk with that train of thought looked slightly less obvious, but as he continued his walk he put his hands down ; one to rest on his hilt where he could easily grab his Zanpaktou grip and one to go in his pocket; as he walked along casually trying to find the person watching him

Kenji searched through the crowd trying to find hopefully the hollow that killed touya, his brother. he saw numerous people. ones with hats, one who were short, even one that had a green mohawk that was so tall it probably took a whole thing of gel to keep straight. after searching for several minutes he spotted a man wearing robes looking a tad bit aware. its a good thing society no longer wears robes, it makes shinigami that much easier to find. however the shinigami's awareness is remarkable, to have the sixth sense to that extent is something to be applauded. he sonido'd to the next tree to try to analyze him better.

As Jinn couldn't tell one reitatsu apart from another he made his way to the trees. Passing several children that looked at him strangly as he passed. Giving them a friendly smile and a slight wave the children immitated how Jinn looked and began there own little sword fights with various sized sticks. Jinn then passed over a small hill pausing on the top to look back; he managed to look into the sky aswell as to try and hide he was looking for someone, but inside he cursed himself for pausing on searching to long; Figuring he was still being followd Jinn briscly walked into the trees and onto a clearning that was to far in this large park for anyone to get hurt. As Jinn flared his reitatsu to attract any possible hollow, arrancar or traitorious human he quickly shunpoed into a densly leaved tree and lowered his reitatsu as much as he could and watched through a little camuflaged hole that he managed to make.

((traitoriss?! i object!!! it all starts out as just thinking of stuff to add. eventually your writers flow kicks in and thats when you "rp your heart out" just takes some getting use to.))

Kenji watched as he quickend his pace. instead of starting a chase he took a deep breath and tried to think for a nice change of pace. his parents had always scorned him to not mess with shinigami for if they found out another type of human existed they would take him away to be their lab rat just like the quincy's. he began to think of all his options that laid before him.

alright he ran off and-

a large explosion of reitsu broke his train of thought but before he could react it was suddenly gone.

ok that was the guy im sure of it, but reitsu's dont just dissappear out of nowhere you know that. maybe if i try to appear friendly i can tell him that i wasnt following him and theres no need to ask for back up or take me in.

after that thought was finished he quickly sonido'd to the last place the reitsu was exposed. he tried to conceal his reitsu so that way the shinigami would think of him as just another human who could see spirits. he looked around trying to find the man

Jinn saw the human walk around near the clearing and thought to himself "Hmm cant be a normal human, they dont generally walk this far into un pathed forrest, No visable hollow parts and no sword.....Hmmm this should be interesting" With that thought staying in his mind Jinn moved best he could round from branch to branch trying not to rustle them beyond more than a bird flying in or out. When he was more or less above the man he sat down and let his legs dangle into the air vaguely kicking now and then out of slight boredom, Then slowly as if he was aproching he let his reitatsu come back to tracable level. Taking his gourd from his side he took some mouthfuls waiting for the human to realise Jinn was there. While Jinn waited he noticed a bird or two fly off at the site of him. Feeling a bit bad about himself he let out a loud sigh.


[Just so you know Jinn never died so he just looks like a human dressed like a shinigami xD Because when in the real world he still uses his actual body]

Kenji slowly a little deeper into the forrest looking for him. as he took a few steps the tree roots were so bad he would have to jump in order to avoid tripping. the tree roots were decently thick and covered in moss. he grimaced as he saw bugs crawling around them. however this was broken by a reitsu leak from above and behind him. he quickly turned then sonido'd right in front of jinn in the tree with his fist right next to his nose charging with reitsu. he let out a sly smirk then talked to the shinigami who snuck up on him.

"do not sneak up on me. i have a violent tendancy." he let out a smirk after that and continued to charge reitsu into his fist.

Jinn smirked showing some teeth that infront of his eyes turned slightly into fangs. With a semi growl of anger by having a fist shoved in his face Jinn said in an almost snarl "I believe i was here first, and you were following me. But believe me when i say keep working my anger up and you will see my pent up ""violent tendancies"". Now riddle me this why are you following me" As Jinn eyes up his opponent he shunpoed back a few branches or so. Within this oddly large branched tree there was plenty of area for a mini brawl but if it did happen to go into a full scale fight Jinn knew he would have to move this back into the clearing.


[ Jinn was taking to soul society after his inner rage (Kajiryuu his zanpaktou) showed up and released its own reitatsu and Jinns, so Jinn never died but he uses his actual body alot in karakura town and soul society incase he does get into a major fight and dies he has the chance of leaving his body and becoming a full soul... if you get my meaning]

Kenji held his ground as the shinigami was starting to get agitated. he decided the best course of action was to keep the shinigami talking. once his zanpakuto was released there would be no going back, a fight would happen weather he liked it or not.

"i followed you because back at the park the ammount of reitsu you released resembled a high level hollow. i-" he wanted to choose his words carefuly, if word got out about the kexu's he was done for.

"i am kenji, i fight hollows as a litte, hobbie of mine. while all the other kids are playing sports im in a boxing match with a ten foot tall monster. but what exactly is a shinigami doing here when no hollows around? one more thing, as for violent tendencies, you dont no the meaning of the phrase."

Jinn smirked as he began to relax from the fist near face act that this kid had done to him so recently, with that same smirk jinn kept his left hand on his sheath just under the hilt of his zanpaktou incase things when pear shaped in a rush; which by now Jinn was used to;, Trying to hide his uneasiness and slight paranoia at a Human that could shunpo at speeds Jinn could hardly match he stayed as calm as anyone and said "Fighting hollows at the age of hat 15, 14? just younger than i am now, that is a new one...mind i killed my first in a fit of rage whan i was like 8, and for iolent tendancies not a week ago i struck a superior who could probably cut me in two when i was blinded by my own lust for battle, and thats me on a good day" Taking his right hand up he put it in his robe and rumaged around a bit doing ti slowly as Jinn kept an eagle eye on Kex trying to see how he reacts to ever ymovement as Jinn thought to his blade "What kind of human can shunpo that fast, know of high level hollows and fight them at his age?"


While still rumageing round in every inner pocket he could before he grapped what he wanted Jinn asked "Why do you fight hollows, and whats your name?"

Kenji eyed him with eyes that seemed like they could see through the thickest wall in your mind. like he could peer into all your secrets and find who you really were and not what you were trying to be. he coughed a bit with his eyes still watching him. his fist was almost charged with as much as you can get reitsu wise incase this hot head got out of control. the man asked about him and it was obvious from the hidden tone in his voise he couldnt understand why kenji was capable of these things.

"i am kenji. im seventeen, my birthday was a couple of days ago, unfortuenatley. ive been hunting hollows since i was twelve. like i said, its a hobbie of mine. most of them dont present much of a challenge unless on the rare occasion a high level hollow shows up. thats where i get my exersise. your wondering why i can use what you shinigami refer to as "shunpo" arent you? id tell you but id have to silence you afterwards." from the tone of his voice you knew the last part wasnt a joke.

Jinn took it as a joke thinking that he had survived What he believed to be High leveled Arrancars and a fight with the Captain commander along with various other opponents where ever he seemed to walk there was a new fight, but still Jinn kept his smile as he knew what this inevidably would draw too. After Jinn had stopped rumaging around in his robe he took out an apple and took a deep bite into it; chewing it slowly as he thought over the words of the human and sensing the reitatsu in the humans hand he swallowed; then after the almost eternity of silence for Jinn he said" How very interesting... you know i heard about humans hunting hollows, and how they fought shinigami as to not end up as"lab rats" i believe the term was..... but thats not for me i enjoy the fights of someone stronger, and i always long for the honourable death of a samurai that my father taught me days before he was murdered" Pausing as he thought back to that day, his eyes almost falred and did change shape for a moment or too into the dragons eyes of kajiryuu, Jinn then turned back to Kex" Well Kex im probably telling you two much, Im Jinn nialo the soon to be captain of 8th squad, and believe me im more than a hand full when it comes to begin killed, so if your gunna tell me something tell me then TRY and kill me"

With the emphasise on try Jinn threw the apple core at Kex, and with a blur of motion as if in some kind of sci fi movie, Jinn slashed his zanpaktou from its sheath cutting the apple in two with the ease of a warm knife into butter. As the apple bits splattered onto Kex Jinn smiled and held back a laugh and said " Fance some exercise in a spar?"

((first of all. his name isnt kex its kenji. his last name isnt even kex its kexSU and i noticed a couple of other gramatical errors. i good way to deal with this is to read over your post after your done. then fix the errors then post it.))

Kenji simply stood there as the shinigami talked about what he knew and his beilefs. when the apple came rushing towards kenji he didnt even move a muscle. when jinn cut through the apple he just stared into his eyes with those dark, painful eyes and shunpo'd slightly to the left so he was next to jinn.

"im afraid im not telling you anything, your gonna have to figure it out as you fight me. a spar with you would be better than fighting boring old hollows. so, lets see who's rage truly is stronger!" he then sunpo'd a couple of branches down and got into a fight stance. this time charging reitsu into the other fist.
